The brand new Queenstown Clip n Climb is close to completion!
The team from Clip ‘n Climb International did an incredible job, installing 19 challenges in just 8 days – just in time for them to fly to Hong Kong to begin their next installation. Nothing like a deadline to keep things moving along! Situated at 15 Red Oaks Drive, the Clip ‘n Climb arena is a natural addition to the entertainment hub which already includes SITE Trampolining and Chipmunks Playland.
Clip ‘n Climb is the newest thing to hit indoor climbing. No climbing experience is necessary and full training is given – all you need to do is clip and climb! Indoor climbing has never been easier or safer – our automatic belay devices take in the slack as you climb and then lower you gently to the ground.
The Queenstown Clip ‘n Climb will complement the Wanaka Clip ‘n Climb, offering loads of challenges that are new to the Queenstown Lakes District, as well as a couple of old favourites. Let’s take a sneak peek at some of our favourite challenges from the new Queenstown Clip ‘n Climb.
The brightly lit circuit board combines flashing round handholds and solid square holds, linked by brightly lit circuitry.
When plants attack! Piece together sections of moulded leafy vines to reach the top.
Stairway to Heaven
Leap between ever-higher columns but mind your step
A favourite with the little ones – climb the colourful holey cheese to weave your way upwards.
Battle the elements and combine body positioning and a side-pull technique to climb the lightning bolt.
You’ll also find some old favourites like the ladders and speed climbing, as well as some other unique new challenges.
If this wasn’t enough you will also have the option of adding a Leap of Faith or Vertical Drop Slide to your Clip ‘n Climb session. The Leap of Faith is just that – jump from a high platform and try to grab a flying trapeze! The Vertical Drop Slide will test your nerves as you are winched to the top for the slide of your life!
Clip ‘n Climb Queenstown is a must do attraction for your next school holidays, rainy weekend or birthday party.
